INTERCHANGE / CARTAGE MANAGEMENT SERVICES CLERK

Location: Port Coquitlam, B.C. Terminal
Full Time - One Year Contract (Maternity Leave)

We are currently recruiting for an Interchange / Cartage Management Services Clerk. This is a full time position that requires an individual who has some flexibility to work hours. The usual shift will be 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., but the shift sometimes changes with the needs of the business that this position services. If you enjoy working in a fast paced, busy environment using your superior data entry skills, have a keen eye for detail, and your numerical inclination helps you to make logical decisions, this position may be of interest. You must also enjoy working with a diverse range of people.

Key responsibilities of this position are:

• Interchange data entry (Unix system)
• Physically inspecting marine containers that arrive at our Interchange (Gate)
• Direct communications with truck drivers entering and exiting our container yard, providing direction to drivers based on current company policies and procedures
• Radio communications with CY crew (Yard Hostlers, Top Pick Operator and Operations Supervisor/s)
• CY Equipment physical Inventory checks and updates in our system
• Manual entries in Interchange Log
• Prepare Cartage invoices
• Interchange & CMS duties as assigned
